How do I know what size exhaust tip I need?

Measure the outside diameter of your existing tailpipe and choose a tip with a matching or slightly larger inlet diameter, so the tip doesn't restrict flow. Common sizes are 2.25", 2.5" and 3".

Bolt-on vs weld-on exhaust tips – which is better?

Bolt-on tips are easier to fit yourself and are clamp-secured, making them simple to swap later. Weld-on tips give a more permanent, seamless finish and are the more common choice for a professional install.

Will a bigger exhaust tip change my exhaust sound or power?

A tip has minimal effect on sound or power as long as its inner diameter is at least as large as your tailpipe. It's primarily a cosmetic upgrade rather than a performance one.

Do exhaust tips rust?

Stainless steel tips resist rust and are the better long-term choice, particularly in coastal areas. Chrome-plated mild steel tips can corrode over time once the plating is scratched or worn.
