1. Will a 3-inch twin system be too loud for my RAM or Silverado?
Our Manta Performance systems are designed with high-quality mufflers and resonators that provide a deep, powerful growl under acceleration while remaining comfortable and "drone-free" at highway cruising speeds. It’s the perfect balance for a daily-driven utility vehicle.
2. Do I need to tune my RAM 1500 after installing extractors and high-flow cats?
While the vehicle will run safely with the factory ECU, a custom tune is highly recommended to take full advantage of the increased airflow. A tune can also help prevent "check engine" lights that sometimes occur when moving to higher-flowing catalytic converters.
3. Are these systems compatible with Right-Hand Drive (RHD) conversions?
Yes. Unlike many systems imported directly from the US, the Manta and XForce systems we stock are specifically tested and verified to fit the RHD-converted models sold in the Australian market, ensuring perfect clearance around the steering column.
4. What is the difference between the "DS" and "DT" RAM 1500 systems?
The DS (Classic) and DT (New Gen) RAM models have different chassis layouts and exhaust routing. It is critical to select the system matching your specific generation. We list the year ranges (e.g., 2009–2024 for DS) on every product page to ensure you get the right fitment.
