Curt - Trailer Safety Chain Holder Bracket (50mm Shank)

The CURT Trailer Safety Chain Holder Bracket makes it easy to keep your trailer safety chains from dragging on the ground while towing. Unlike other chain hanger options, the bracket is designed to bolt into place, keeping it firmly mounted even after you uncouple your trailer—no separate piece that can be dropped, lost, or stolen!

Installing this safety chain bracket is easy and secure. It clamps onto virtually any standard 50mm shank, as long as the shank has 28mm clearance between the mount and the hitch receiver. When towing, if a vehicle-trailer disconnect occurs, the hanger hooks are designed to fail if needed, allowing the chains to work properly. The hooks can easily be bent back into shape for reuse.
